Vice President, Learning & Development Specialist
Our client, a Financial Services firm in NY, is seeking a seasoned professional to join its Learning & Development (L&D) team at the VP level, focusing on driving innovative programs that build essential professional skills across all levels of the organization. This role is integral to developing future leaders and ensuring the organization’s sustained success. This person will be designing customized training solutions that empower employees to excel, all within a supportive, collaborative, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Customized Learning Programs: Develop tailored training initiatives targeting skills like project management, effective time management, creative thinking, prioritization, and interviewing techniques.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal experts, external vendors, and business leaders to create impactful workshops, coaching sessions, and digital learning tools.
- Evaluate Program Success: Continuously measure and refine learning offerings to maximize impact and relevance.
- Optional Facilitation: Lead learning sessions as needed, based on expertise and interest.
Experience Required
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher with eight or more years of experience, ideally in Learning & Development or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to ambiguity, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills with a detail-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Experience with both developing and facilitating learning content and partnering with key stakeholders to develop L&D strategy for the firm
